Located inĀ Pawlet, VT, and spanning the rolling hills of Vermont’s Champlain Valley and reaching into Washington County, New York, our 300-acre farm was established in 1864 by a man named Consider Stebbins Bardwell. It was Vermont’s first dairy coop, where small farmers in the area brought their milk and they sold it as far as NYC.
Now called Consider Bardwell Farms we provide cheese-making classes and apprenticeships for those interested in learning more about the art of cheese-making.
