The view from the footbridge below Otter Falls may make you feel like you’ve stepped a few centuries back in time. Located in Middlebury in Addison Country, the falls are among the most scenic you’ll see anywhere.

Their total fall is just shy of 20 feet, but they’re much wider and are framed by a few of the town’s buildings and a beautiful, arched stone bridge that looks like it’s been there for ages.

The falls are on Otter Creek, which is a favorite spot for fly fishermen.
