Viking Nordic Center stands as one of the longest-established cross-country ski facilities in North America. Boasting an extensive 35-kilometer trail network, we cater to skiers, snowshoers, and fat bike enthusiasts alike. Whether navigating the gently rolling terrain of our inner trail system or embarking on the expansive loops through our wooded outer trail system, individuals ranging from beginners to experts can discover terrain that offers both satisfaction and a challenge.
All ski trails are open for snowshoeing, with an additional two dedicated snowshoe trails, providing a total of 39 kilometers for snowshoe enthusiasts. Fat bike riders can explore exciting routes beyond the Beaver Pond Trails or, for an exhilarating hill ride, experience the thrill of Yggdrasil.
Cap off your skiing day with a hearty cup of soup paired with one of our diverse grilled cheese sandwiches. Alternatively, bring your own lunch and enjoy a picnic in our warming hut, offering scenic views of Vermont’s Stratton Mountain. For added excitement, kids can extend their skiing adventure by searching for cookie punch stations, completing the required punches on their cards, and claiming a cookie in our cafe. Fear not, as there’s an adult version too, requiring more skiing and some map reading. Whatever your preference, we strive to make winter a season of enjoyment!
