Vermont Inst. of Natural Science
VINS (Vermont Institute of Natural Science), headquartered in Quechee, VTsitson 47 acres of forest, meadow, and rolling hills, VINS features 17 state-of-the-art raptor enclosures that house hawks, eagles, falcons, owls, and other birds of prey. In addition, the site has two songbird aviaries, which are home to a cedar waxed wing and cardinal among other species.

The Killington Skye Ropes course and the Terra-Maze are pretty impressive contraptions. While you’re on the course, the rope that’s attached to your harness is connected on the other end to a clip that moves along a track overhead. So there’s no hooking and unhooking and kids can move wherever they want without needing any special help.
